Bubbles and waffles at Puffles!

A Quick Life Update: 1. Winter is coming…but definitely not here in Florida. 2. Work is good and it’s getting busier for us which is one of the reasons why I have been kind of “absent” lately. I had a couple of things I wanted to post about but obviously never made it out of my drafts. (It will probably never will at this point. LOL) 3. I got to fly to Chicago to see some of my family. 4. One of my best friend’s moved to Florida!

And today is her birthday!

This gal is addicted to bubble tea. So today, I got to steal her from her hubby for a little bit and celebrated her special day over some bubble tea and a bubble waffle ice cream – I never heard of it before but apparently, it’s a popular street snack from Hong Kong. AKA egg waffle ice cream.

We shared this chocolate flavored bubble waffle with pistachio ice cream. Topped with honey granola, condensed milk and green tea pocky. — I think this combo was pretty darn good.

They have their signature creations but it’s always more fun to experiment and build your own. They have a ton of flavors and toppings to choose from! I can’t wait to go back and try new ones.

And incase you guys are wondering who took our photos. Well, this cutie patootie did.

Just kidding. She is my new favorite third wheeler, that’s for sure! She loves to join our chikas!

Chika (chee-kah) — a filipino slang word for gossip

I’m giving this place a 5 out 5 stars just ‘coz they literally have a wall for you to take photos with their food and drinks. That was very smart of them, great for advertising. But all jokes aside, I really did enjoy my time here with my best friend. It was a great place for catching up (not like we haven’t been seeing each other lol) and location wise, you are only a few steps away from the beach and all the other restaurants!
