Trip to the Farmer’s Market

Sunday. Which also means hubby is off and luckily today, we got to hang out for a couple of hours before I had to go to work.

We’ve been meaning to check this place out for some time now and today was just perfect. I didn’t have to go to work ’til five and the weather was just great.

so we finally went for it!

The place is called Yellow Green Farmers Market and they are only open every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm. I believe we went around noon and parking was really busy and already full. We had to park a few minutes away from the warehouse which wasn’t really bad at all. But we are definitely thinking about going earlier next time.

Some of my favorite part about this day were captured in photos and we’d like to share them with you.

Our first stop. These mini cars were just too cute. We had to.

What first caught our attention when we got inside the warehouse. Look at that bar!

You’ll find several booths like this that sell all sorts of spices. Some I’ve never even heard of. J was psyched!

For the sweet tooth.

My favorite #ArtsyFartsy. I wanted to get everything from this shop! Especially this cat painting that my mom-in-law would LOVE.
How it ended: we only got two really cute magnets lol. But at least I know where to go to get my presents next time 😉

See what I’m talking about? Ugh, so cute!!!

Even Justin liked this shop lol

The fresh produce here are beautiful! We found this mushroom called lion’s mane and I can’t wait to try it

You’ll find random things like these dragon eggs aka Breadfruit

Here I am looking all excited to try this pineapple-coconut drink

For lunch…

This one place seemed to be the crowd’s favorite. And it sure is now our favorite too. The line was really long but it was so worth it!

They had an open wood fire grill set up which was already so inviting. And if you’re lucky, they’ll slice you a sample. I got pretty lucky. Sorry, Justin.

They slice everything to order and they’ll even ask you how do you like your meat cooked. Medium rare is the way to go.

Happy bellies.

Basically, it filled us up quick and we went home with a decent amount of leftover. We had so much fun and we already can’t wait to go back!

‘Til next time!
